The World Federation of Sports Goods (NFSG) was established in 1978 and is the only authoritative non-profit organization in the global sports industry officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (10C), dedicated to representing the overall interests of the sports goods industry. It is driven by members as the core driving force, initiated and founded by members, always focusing on serving members. Through efficient collaboration and professional operation, it is committed to fulfilling industry empowerment, standardized guidance and other functions in the best mode, and promoting the sustainable development of the sports equipment industry.

WFSGI audit focuses on "compliance+sustainability+product safety", targeting the special characteristics of sports equipment production (such as high-intensity production, use of special materials, and export-oriented), with a core coverage of 5 dimensions:

1. Labor Rights and Ethics (Core Module)

Prohibit child labor and forced labor, strictly implement compliance with working hours (at least one day off per week and no more than 36 hours of overtime per month), and eliminate the phenomenon of "sudden overtime" during the peak season of sports equipment;

Salary is transparent and sufficient, overtime pay is paid at the statutory rate (1.5 times on weekdays and 2 times on rest days), social security and housing fund are paid according to regulations to avoid accounting deviations caused by "piece rate wages";

Respect employees' freedom of association and collective bargaining rights, prohibit discriminatory treatment, and pay special attention to the protection of the special rights and interests of female employees and underage workers (if any).

2. Product Safety and Quality (Industry Featured Module)

Raw material compliance: Metal parts of sports equipment and fabrics of sports shoes and clothing must comply with international environmental standards such as REACH and Prop65, and harmful chemicals (such as heavy metals and formaldehyde) are prohibited;

Product testing: Provide third-party testing reports covering physical safety (such as load-bearing testing of fitness equipment), environmental indicators (such as fabric odor, pH value), durability, etc;

Quality control: Establish a full process quality control system from raw material warehousing to finished product outbound, with separate identification and isolation of non-conforming products to avoid entering the market.

3. Environmental Sustainable Management (Key Module)

Pollution control: For the wastewater (such as fabric dyeing wastewater) and exhaust gas (such as injection molding process exhaust gas) generated in the production of sports goods, supporting treatment facilities are required to meet emission standards and keep monitoring reports;

Waste disposal: Waste molds, scraps, waste chemical containers, etc. are classified and stored, and hazardous waste is entrusted to qualified institutions for disposal to avoid "white pollution" and resource waste;

Energy conservation and consumption reduction: Encourage the use of environmentally friendly materials, optimize production processes (such as water-saving dyeing technology), reduce unit product energy consumption, and meet the requirements of international brand "sustainable procurement".

4. Production site safety (high-risk modules)

Equipment safety: Welding, stamping, cutting and other processes in the production of sports equipment must be equipped with complete protective devices (protective covers, emergency stop buttons), and special operators must hold certificates to work;

Fire compliance: Workshops and warehouses (especially areas storing sports equipment raw materials and finished products) should be equipped with sufficient fire extinguishers according to their area, safety exits should be unobstructed, and emergency lighting should last for at least 90 minutes;

Chemical management: Production materials such as adhesives and coatings are classified and stored, MSDS (Safety Data Sheet) is posted, and employees are equipped with protective equipment (gloves, masks) and trained on how to use them.

5. Supply Chain Traceability and Business Ethics

Transparent supply chain: Raw material procurement channels can be traced (such as supplier qualifications and testing reports for sports shoe fabrics), subcontractors must comply with WFSGI compliance requirements, and "layer by layer subcontracting" is prohibited;

Anti bribery and anti unfair competition, ensuring the integrity and transparency of the cooperation process with international brands, and avoiding business ethics risks.
