Organizations that have obtained OHSAS 18001 certification will have three years to transfer to the new standard.

Why develop a new occupational health and safety management system ISO standard?

According to statistics from the International Labour Organization, approximately 6300 workers worldwide die every day due to occupational accidents or work-related illnesses. 1、 Organizations that have obtained ISO 45001 certification for the first time

Step 1- Provide customized recommendations based on the size and business type of the organization. After you sign the contract, consultation and review can begin.

Step 2- Provide optional consulting services and form a certification team.

Step 3- Optional "pre review" services for preparation and weak links.

Step 4- Formal review. Phase 1: Preparation Assessment: Evaluate the documented system and other important systems established by the organization, and identify any non conformities.

Step 5- Phase 2: Includes interviews with staff, inspection of document records, and on-site inspection of work practices to identify audit findings. After passing the review, a certificate will be issued.

Step 6- Conduct supervision and review of the implementation of the system and rectification plan every six months or one year according to the contract.

Step 7- After the certificate has been issued for 3 years, carry out a re certification audit.

2、 Organizations that have obtained OHSAS 18001:2007 certification

The certification migration to ISO 45001 can be completed within three years from the official release of the new standard. The recommended steps for migration work are as follows:

Step 3- Develop a migration implementation plan

Step 8- Ensure that all competency requirements for personnel mentioned in the standard are met

Step 10- Ensure understanding of the requirements for 'documented information'

Step 11- If necessary, improve the existing occupational health and safety management system to meet the requirements of the new standards and verify its effectiveness
