Overview of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
The ISO 22000 standard was established in 2005, adopting the international management system standard framework and applying the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) as a method to the entire system; It has been clarified that hazard analysis is the core of achieving food safety planning, and the product characteristics, expected uses, process diagrams, processing steps, control measures, and communication in the preparatory steps developed by the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) are used as inputs for hazard analysis and its updates.
