SCS Recyled Content（SCS）， The Chinese name for "Emerald Bird Certification" is the first recycled ingredient certification system created by the United States in 1990. The application scope of the Kingfisher certification mark is very wide, and applicable standards have been developed in green economy fields such as agriculture, finished products, and clothing. Dedicated to providing services in major green economy sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, forestry, green buildings, energy, climate, and manufactured goods.

SCS uses a rigorous, scientific, standardized, and quantitative certification process to effectively distinguish between "pre consumption" and "post consumption" recycled ingredients, comprehensively monitor the production process of recycled products, effectively distinguish recycled products from general raw products, and ultimately determine the content of recycled ingredients in products, thereby enhancing the credibility of requirements and recycling ratio statements in different markets. At the same time as obtaining the certification for recycled ingredients, the enterprise will receive a certificate called "SCS Recycled Content Declaration". The enterprise can use the SCS Recycled Content Declaration for marketing and product promotion within one year of the certification validity period.

Provide third-party certification and evaluation services for recycled ingredients from the service industry and products. Certified products include various green building products, such as carpets, textiles, tiles, decorative materials, insulation materials, and flooring; In addition, there are consumer goods and retail items such as paper, plastic, clothing, shopping bags, luggage, jewelry, and shipping containers.

Scope and standards for the review of Cuiniao certification tags:

Allow individual tag users to use the SCS authentication tag only as a declaration of authentication, as specified in the SCS Service Agreement, SCS Personal Tag Requirements Attachment, and SCS Tag and Language Guide.

Individual label users are not allowed to make changes or alter the recycling content or other environmental claims related to the product before selling it.

If the user requests permission to use an individual trademark, they must submit an individual label application form to SCS, comply with relevant regulations, and pay the usage management fee.

Once the product meets the standard requirements and is certified as qualified, a SCS recycled ingredient content certification certificate will be issued, which is valid for 1 year and guarantees that the manufacturer continues to meet the standard requirements.

If the manufacturing enterprise wants to continue using certification statements, it must conduct an annual audit in accordance with this standard.
