The Global Organic Textile Standard, abbreviated as GOTS, is a certification standard for organic textiles worldwide. The Global Organic Textile GOTS standard aims to ensure that organic textiles are in an organic state throughout the entire process from harvesting their raw materials, socially and environmentally responsible processing, to labeling, in order to provide reliable products to end consumers.
The GOTS certification standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trading, and distribution activities of textiles with organic and natural certified fiber content not less than 70%. The final products may include (but are not limited to) fiber products, yarns, fabrics, clothing, textile fashion (wearable) accessories, textile toys, home textiles, mattresses and bedding, and textile personal care products.
Among them, some guidelines stipulate that the entire unit processing Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) products must meet environmental management, wastewater treatment, low social standards, and audits for processing, manufacturing, and trade activities, while other guidelines only require specific certified products to meet.

All enterprises and institutions that have obtained legal institutional identity are applicable, including but not limited to:

2. Obtain certification of recognized international or national standards (such as EU standards, NOP standards, etc.)
3. Restricting the use of fibers with conversion periods
4. Branch offices need to be accredited in accordance with ISO65 or recognized by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements.
certification process
1. Application: Fill out and submit the application form provided by the institution, including information such as the certification location.
2. Agreement: After confirming the application form, the certification body will sign an agreement with the customer and provide a quotation.
3. Review: After signing the agreement and paying the certification fee, the certification begins to evaluate the GOTS documents (such as material flow diagrams for each location, including risk points, GOTS system plans (organization sent checklists), and procedure manuals). At the same time, the auditors began preparing for on-site audits.
4. Review and Conclusion: After the on-site audit is completed, we need to ensure that all corrective measures are resolved and handled. Afterwards, the institution issues a certificate.
