Basic Overview of EcoVadis Certification

EcoVadis is an online corporate social responsibility (CSR) validation platform that provides improvement guidance by evaluating suppliers' CSR performance, aiming to leverage the impact of global supply chains to enhance a company's environmental and social practices. It combines all organizational governance projects of the enterprise operation except for quality, and conducts comprehensive evaluation through online submission of materials based on different scales and industry affiliations of the enterprise. Company procurement managers can easily use a concise dynamic scorecard to help them monitor and manage their suppliers' corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance and whether it is continuously improving and enhancing. The evaluation system mainly revolves around four aspects: company environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. Since its establishment in 2007, EcoVadis has been a development supplier for large enterprises with global goals, providing rating services to over 75000 companies worldwide.

Validity period of review:

The EoVadis scorecard is valid for 12 months after its release (i.e., valid for one year). To view the specific release date of the scorecard, simply log in to your EcoVadis account and go to 'My Performance'. The date is displayed below the company name.

Evaluation criteria:

The audit standards are based on 21 standards including ISO26000 Corporate Social Responsibility Management System and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), covering four main themes: environment, labor practices and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. Examples of audit criteria include energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, health and safety, working conditions, corruption and bribery

EcoVadis evaluation process

1. Online registration

Create a company profile that details the company's business activities, contact information, etc. These pieces of information will then be used to customize a survey questionnaire specifically for you.

2. Fill out the survey questionnaire

Fill out the survey questionnaire and upload files (such as certificates). The EcoVadis platform is secure and confidential, providing multilingual services and a professional support team to safeguard you.

3. Expert analysis

EcoVadis analysts will include the results of your survey questionnaire in the scorecard. EcoVadis sustainability assessment is an independent management system evaluation based on survey questionnaires and uploaded files..

4. Rating results

View your scorecard results online. Share rating results, collaborate directly with clients, improve performance, and promote company achievements.
